Gründerzeithotel mit Panoramablick auf Marienbad
Das Hotel liegt im Kurzentrum von Marienbad etwas erhöht in Hanglage. Die meisten Zimmer haben Balkon und einen wunderschönen Blick über den Ort (sollte man als Wunsch bei Buchung angeben). Das Haus ist aus der Gründerzeit und hat entsprechend große Zimmer. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmässig ausgestattet. Sehr bequeme Betten. Badezimmer klein aber ok. Sehr freundliche deutschsprachige Rezeptionistin. Parken kann man für Euro 2,10/Tag gegenüber dem Hotel. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit lokalen Produkten, aber nur eine Stunde von 8:30 bis 9:30 (ab 09:00 waren die Rühereier aus und wurden nicht mehr nachgebracht). Das Servicepersonal spricht nur tschechisch. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und das Abendessen mit regionaler Küche war sehr lecker. Buffet mit drei warmen Gerichten und Dessert. Getränke zum Abdenessen kauft man am Automaten, dadurch sehr preiswert. Wegen der herausragenden Lage mit Panoramablick und des guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses kann ich das Hotel empfehlen, wenn man mit einfacher Ausstattung und wenig Service zufrieden ist. Sehr beliebt bei tschechischen Gästen..

Geht für ein-zwei Tage
Hatten zwei Zimmer für eine Nacht gebucht. Das eine Zimmer hatte einen prächtigen Blick auf die Stadt mit ihren Palästen und die wunderschöne hügelige Umgebung, das andere Zimmer ging zum hässlichen Innenhof hinaus, was uns nicht weiter störte, weil wir sowieso im Zimmer nur schliefen und gleich am nächsten Morgen wieder abreisten. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas heruntergekommen und verdient objektiv gesehen 2 Sterne, aber was braucht man schon für eine Nacht und einen Morgen? Bett, Toilette, Waschbecken, Dusche, Frühstück. Das bekommt man in der "Fontana".
