Our Villa is located in Building 28 at The Ridge. It is one of the 2 best located of the 29 buildings at The Ridge. The Villa has 2-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms and everything including access to the Villa is ground level. The master bedroom has a king size bed (with the same mattress found at the Ritz Carlton) with an adjacent private enclosed lanai. You can hear the waves crash as you fall asleep each night. The Villa has been renovated and is beautiful in every respect. Both bedrooms and the living room have high-definition, flat-screen televisions. The living room also has a DVR. There is a large wrap-around balcony off of the living room which affords world-class views of Molokai, the beaches, the Plantation Course, the Ritz-Carlton and the West Maui Mountains. We offer free wifi internet access. Please take a look at the video as well as the still photographs. It is perfectly situated within the resort. The walk to the Kapalua Beach is under 5 minutes. As well, you can easily walk to D.T. Fleming's beach, Napili Bay and Oneloa Bay. The snorkeling and diving is superb. For golf, the Kapalua Resort has the world-famous Plantation Course that is a challenge for even the best golfers. The Plantation is the home of the PGA's Sentry (formerly Mercedes Benz) Tournament of Champions a AS A GUEST OF MY VILLA, I CAN PASS ALONG TO YOU THE RESORT RATE WHICH WILL SAVE YOU APPROXIMATELY $30 PER PLAYER ON THE PLANTATION COURSE. Regrettably, the Bay Course is currently closed with no date set for re-opening. It was going to be completely remodeled but for now, that is on-hold. The Kapalua Tennis Club is also a very short walk from our Villa. There is a community pool available immediately outside and in the pool area are gas grills for cooking. The Kapalua Resort has 100 miles of trails planned from the mountain ridge to the coastline for walking, hiking and horseback riding. You'll find trails for all hikers and they weave a diverse tapestry throughout the resort's land holdings. The Coastal Trail offers a unique chance to wander along the coast through different terrains. We think it is a great way to start a morning. All in all, this offers a great value for a memorable vacation. Don't pay the high prices from the Kapalua Villas or other rental pools. This is the EXACT same unit as they offer at a fraction of their charges. The Villa will be clean when you arrive and cleaned when you leave. If you would like additional cleaning, it is available at an extra cost. There is a reason why Kapalua is world famous. It is a gorgeous spot and one that all ages will enjoy. The approximate 220 degree view from the Villa is amazing. Displays of migrating whales can be seen beyond the beautiful D.T. Fleming beach. The Granite countertop kitchen is equipped with only top notch appliances including a Keurig K-cup and carafe coffee maker, a Bosch dishwasher and Breville toaster oven, along with the expected kitchen appliances. The covered carport is easily accessible from the front door of this large single level Villa. The owner was very responsive to any question raised. The location is great, sweeping views of Molokai and Oneloa Beach, walking distance to Dragons Teeth and the Sea House. The kitchen was very well appointed, everything was there. Plenty of linens. The pictures of the main living area are fine and reflective of that part of the unit. However, both bathrooms are disgusting. I have uploaded pictures below. The owner is rude. When I brough up a concern to him, his response was that I could leave. He did not care about trying to fix the issues at all. The A/C was out in the master the whole stay but I couldn't dare say that as he had already suggested us getting out of the unit with no refund at all and I didn't want to be kicked out with nowhere to go. He was rude in every interactions and I was being a reasonable person. I am working on uploading the screenshots of our interactions. Stay else where. I wouldnt even shower without sandals becuause the bathrooms are so out dated and gross and there are many parts of the unit in desperate need of repair. But, the views are nice and the main kitchen/living area is as pictured. This rental is spacious, clean and so quiet with expansive ocean views. We took full advantage of the fully stocked kitchen for cooking at home and loved having the pool just a few steps away. I actually think that this rental is better than the photos show. It was so spacious, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had high end appliances and cookware, the views were amazing and our favorite part hands down was the swimming pool. The pool in the photo doesn’t do it justice. It’s warm, quiet, clean, has lots of shade, bathrooms and shower plus a shaded area with really nice bbq’s. I may have napped there daily. And….it was all steps away from our condo. Loved our vacation and if we ever come back to Maui, I will see if this place is available first. Way better than the crowded resorts on Kaanapali beach! We visited our friends for a day at kaanapali beach and it was so crowded at the resort that we were unable to find seats to relax or a quiet area to play. One last tip, go to Honolua market daily, best prices for food and sundries, and right on the way out of the resort. Missing the malasadas already. ##### Suki P. What a great place for a family get together! Waking up to this expansive, infinite ocean view each morning brought in the aloha spirit like no other! 10 minute walk to our favorite snorkeling spot, Kapalua Bay. And the pool is literally a 30 second walk away! So very convenient.The corner unit affords an incredible panoramic view- fyi the unit can get very windy for the same reason. Either way, we loved its charm. Peter was SUPER responsive to our needs and very generously accommodating for our requests for early check in and late check out. Thank you, Peter!! Nicely decorated and comfortable with a full kitchen and laundry. Very spacious. It has a quiet secluded feel and absolutely breathtaking views just from the back balcony. The place is amazing, very spacious, great amenities and the balcony is the gem of the property. The views are unreal, you can watch surfers all say and whales all day. If you have a great camera, you are into video and imaging, bring your gear and sit on this balcony, you wont be disappointed, we got great shots of whales breaching and surfers doing their thing.
