It is an easy taxi ride from the TRA/HSR station (go to the TRA side for a taxi since that side is closer to the hotel). There is a bus stop close to the hotel, but the buses going to the train station seemed to only run about every 30 to an hour, so using a taxi was better use of time. The front desk staff were all friendly and spoke enough English that communication was not a problem. There are two 7-11 stores within easy walking distance which is something to keep in mind for guests who come from a Western background. The free breakfast is completely local food, and if that is not your preference, then being able to grab something more Western is helpful.
