We’re a couple from Sweden staying in Kandy for a couple of nights before heading to Ella. Ceyloni staff were very friendly and service minded which made our stay great. Breakfast was also great with local dishes as well as omelette, fruits etc. Good sized rooms (normal) with a balcony. And good restaurants within 1-5 minutes walking. English is spoken. Clean and new room, air conditioning working very well. Helpful staff, the younger guy helped us orginise the taxi to next destination and suggested couple of good stops on the way and the best driver we had during our 2-week trip in Sri Lanka. The neighbourhood is nothing special, but is central enough and therefore close to everything important.
