A heritage property with charm. Lovely gardens, infinity pool and common areas. Staff are friendly and do all to help. The location is elevated and a quick tuk into town or walk. As travelling solo I booked a double room and not on the larger. Whilst they are clean and comfortable with all you need I would suggest book a larger room if you can as there was no natural light in the rooms as there were shutters that were covered. It was ok as I sat in common areas to read etc. Just a heads up. Also as the room backs on to back of house areas you could hear lots of noise so recommend ear plugs. The breakfast was lovely and served in the garden area. The staff work hard perhaps a little overstretched as one person seemed to be doing most tasks and working exceptionally hard. Whilst it doesn’t have views etc the vibe of the property is a welcome change to the usual standard 4-5 star hotel that all feel the same. I would happily stay again just pick one of the larger rooms.
