They had just turned on the heat in my room once I got there so it was as cold inside as it was outside which was about -3 C. Since it was so cold, everything from the towels to the carpet to the bedding felt damp to the touch. It took about an hour and half to completely warm up, I understand not heating the rooms if they are not in use, but I made a reservation weeks prior, they were expecting me and I feel the room should have been heated for my arrival regardless of what time I was arriving. The hot water also took a long time to get warmed up, I was there for work and on a time frame and waiting for hot water to come through for showering etc. was very inconvenient. The room needs a good deep clean, I could see the walls had not been washed down in some time, doors (particularly the adjoining door between the rooms was filthy, door handles, light switches, remotes and bedside stand required a cleaning from me as it was visible they had not been done, in fact two cleans on the bedside table still revealed black dust. Cleanliness is super important, especially during this time and I feel they need to put forth more effort into their cleaning and sanitizing. I did consider requesting my money back and finding accommodations elsewhere but I was super tired and not sure if it would end up in an argument for my money back so just decided to stay. The only plus I would have to say was the bed was comfortable and bedding clean.
