"We spent just under 3 weeks in the Peloponnese and this mansion was our home base. It was so excellent we didn't want to leave. Great pool and hot tub, spacious, lots of fruit trees that were in season, a taverna within walking distance and beaches that were perfect for sunning and playing in the Aegean. The house is so impressive and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, an outside grill, gated with an large lawn, and views to die for. We also loved the ping pong table, foosball table and outdoor speakers for the stereo. I can't say enough good things about this property. Kudos to the owners. They do it right!!! Oh, and the property manager bends over backward to help insure an excellent stay. "

"When I absolutely needed to have laundry done, they did it for only a few Euros more than the nearby self-serve laundry, and delivered it almost a day earlier than I expected. Great staff!"

"What a great hotel and offering, beautiful inviting lobby. Loved both the pool and the easy access across the path to beach lounges if desired (other hotels along the beachfront we observed required crossing the busy road to get to beach). Staff were obliging, great breakfast offering, easy, large and free onsite parking. Rooms and shower pressure great however shower over bath does not have curtain which we found a little messy and would encourage the hotel to address this feature. Wifi excellent in the room but average elsewhere. Would definitely stay again and longer! "

"A unique building that was fully restored keeping the character of the original building which was beautiful. Unfortunately due to the fact that is a listed building and due to the regulations you can’t change anything which means that you don’t have an elevator which makes it difficult using the stairs when you have a large luggage. The owners were very polite, attentive and helpful willing to help us with any request we had. The breakfast was based on local ingredients and was delicious (especially the cheese pie). The breakfast room was beautiful but unfortunately due to the regulations until now the owners didn’t have a permit to add air conditioning in this room and it was very warm as outside temperatures were above 30C. However we were told that they finally got approval so it should not be an issue in the future. We would definitely return to this hotel the next time we will visit Kalamata."
