The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great. The location is excellent because it’s right in the middle of Kailua and Kona. Everything is relatively close, but you still feel like you’re out of the super busy areas in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We only had to purchase one item (they had run out of dish detergent for the dishwasher).There were a couple of minor issues we encountered and Diane was very helpful and very understanding. To explain further, we lost something of theirs and were never able to find it. I offered to replace it and pay for anything they might need to fix our mistake. Diane was so understanding and told me not to worry about it. I was very grateful to have such an understanding host.The only reason I gave a 4 star on cleanliness is there were a couple of things that got missed from their cleaning staff before our arrival. Kinda odd layout with 2nd bedroom more of a dining room with blinds and sliding doors. Was very clean. Nice to have the 2 bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Diane responded quickly to any questions we had, the condo was very clean when we arrived, which we appreciated. The kitchen is one of the best kitchens of the numerous VRBO'S we have stayed in, can't think of anything we needed that wasn't there. The beach chairs and umbrella came in handy for the day we spent on the beach. The condo was in a good location for all the exploring and hiking we did. We would stay again if we find ourselves back in this area of the Big Island. ##### Denise P. Oct 25, 2017 #### Convenient and clean, but furniture was musty and the lights in spare bedroom didn't work. The location was great, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked.
