The view was to die for and the sound of the waves crashing were even more heavenly than the view. We were in town from Kennett Square Pa to volunteer for Maui Rapid response at Honokowai park. It was the perfect location to walk to the park each day and feel grounded in the area. The pool and hot tiub and long walks to Whalers village were a perfect morning or evening activity. We had two issues that were all addressed right away . If you want the perfect place to watch the beautiful Maui sunsets this is the place ! Our beach is not good for swimming lots of rocks and coral reefs but we had gate access to our neighboring Hotel Honua Kai so we just went and hang out on that side of the beach .. The complex is nice and well maintained. Walking distance to shops, food trucks, restaurants, and grocery store. It sits right on the beach. The view is amazing. Beautiful sunsets. We stayed a couple weeks at the beginning of April and saw numerous whales, dolphins, and resident turtles from our lanai. We could have sat out there forever. Don’t forget your binoculars. The studio condo has everything you need. It was nice to have a cooler to take for a day on the beach or for the car. Beach chairs were also convenient. You can rent snorkel gear, boogie boards, and flotation belts within walking distance. Communication with MPP was easy and responsive. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.
