Your two-bed, two bath extra large private apartment in quiet neighborhood has a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, dining, living room, family room, and washer and dryer in the unit. This space is priced for two people. You'll have a designated parking spot just in front of your private entrance and porch. There is a TV with Fire stick streaming capabilities. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a double bed. The huge fenced back yard is also yours to use, and shared with the residents in the other units. This is a pet friendly property, and the adjoining unit has two mix breads that have proven to be friendly to other animals and share the back yard space nicely. This is a two-story unit with one bedroom, bathroom, and living room upstairs and the other bed, bath, and family room downstairs. This is a large two bedroom with some great features including multiple skylights, in-floor heating, Direct access to the fenced backyard from a back door, large deck with access off living room and new flooring and remodeled kitchen. Self-check in with a lock box, so late check-in is not a problem. You'll be given the lock box code a few days prior to your arrival. Check-in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. We will offer you early check-in and late check-out options if it's available, a couple days before your arrival/departure for a fee of $50\. Sluice Box is conveniently located in the Mendenhall Valley 6 miles from the Juneau Ferry Terminal, 2.5 miles from the airport (25 min bus ride), 2 miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier, 4.5 miles from the University of Alaska, and 10.5 miles from Downtown Juneau. Pets are welcome upon approval for a fee. Please inquire about monthly pet fees. We want to offer pet friendly places and we want your business, but we want you to be happy. We strive to keep the properties clean and maintained for all guests, which this fee helps pay for. You'll be asked to rate the value of your experience, and If this fee creates a diminished value perception, then we hope you find another fabulous place for your party. Host, Kelli, happens to be a co-owner of a large tour company with over 25 tours throughout Alaska. She offers 10% discount on all tours offered by the company, Alaska Travel Adventures, to her vacation rental guests. Popular tours offered in Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Sitka include whale watching, salmon bakes, river rafting, kayaking, canoe tours, boat tours, hiking, gold panning, private cars, Mendenhall Glacier tours, jeep tours, Alaska RV and Cruise tour packages, and more. We had to go and buy an air freshener and fan to keep the air circulated. The dryer was broke. The bed frame was broken. It has two bedrooms and two baths and a lovely kitchen area and sitting area. The place was close to the glacier and other stores. We rented a car and we are glad we did because taking an uber each time we went somewhere would have cost about the same. This gave us the freedom to come and go.
