Your two-bed, one bath private apartment in quiet neighborhood has a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, dining, living room, and laundry facilities in an open floor plan. This space is priced for two people. The laundry is in a common laundry room, with direct access from your apartment. You'll have a designated parking spot just in front of your private entrance and porch. There is a TV with Roku streaming capabilities. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a double bed. The huge fenced back yard is also yours to use, and shared with the residents in the other units. Self-check in with a lock box, so late check-in is not a problem. You'll be given the lock box code a few days prior to your arrival. Check-in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. We will offer you early check-in and late check-out options if it's available, a couple days before your arrival/departure for a fee of $50\. Nugget Place is conveniently located in the Mendenhall Valley 6 miles from the Juneau Ferry Terminal, 2.5 miles from the airport (25 min bus ride), 2 miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier, 4.5 miles from the University of Alaska, and 10.5 miles from Downtown Juneau. Pets are welcome upon approval for a fee. Please inquire about monthly pet fees. We want to offer pet friendly places and we want your business, but we want you to be happy. We strive to keep the properties clean and maintained for all guests, which this fee helps pay for. You'll be asked to rate the value of your experience, and If this fee creates a diminished value perception, then we hope you find another fabulous place for your party. The kitchen has everything you need and the fenced in backyard is great for dogs. It sets you up well for a walk at the glacier and the neighborhood is safe and friendly. Also an easy walk to the Juneau bus stop, however we found it more convenient to rent a car. Also very convenient to Mendahall Glacier. Host even set us up with ample shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Only item on my wish list: robust wifi. We had poor cell service so were relying on wifi to make local plans, and this was frustrating at best.
