Josephine Newman Audubon Sanctuary Tours and Activities

Was not expecting the luxury that we walked into, especially given the cost. Truly amazing. Beyond comfortable suite with a full kitchenette. Immaculate room and facility. There was a full coffee bar with a variety of coffee cake out each morning. That was not included in the hotel description and I was a huge fan of the blueberry coffee. Highly recommend!

The pictures for this unit show a bathtub in the bathroom. However, there's also a beautiful separate shower that wasn't pictured. This unit also has a dorm-sized refrigerator, a dorm-sized freezer, a single electric cooktop, and a microwave that I don't think were listed on the site. It's a beautiful unit in a great location. We used it as a hub for Acadia National Park. The drive from here wasn't bad at all. Would stay here again.

This place was only about a half hour or so from Acadia National Park which was perfect for us. It was a large space for our family of 5. It was clean and organized and had more than 1 bathroom which was necessary. The sitting area easily accommodated all of us as well as the kitchen. It wasn’t far from many places in Ellsworth either. We were able to spend time in Acadia National Park but still have a large enough area for the whole family to relax when we got back. I really appreciated the listing of local places to try or visit. FYI we loved Schoodic Point and Cadillac Mountain especially. Would definitely recommend this place especially with family.
