"This place was great for two families of 4. Chris is an awesome host. Sleeping to the sound of the river in comfortable beds. The only thing I would add is if you want to interact with the river, it’s probably a short drive if you have kids due to fast moving traffic outside the “compound”, but it would not stop us from coming back. "

"We have a large family and it is hard to find a place big enough to accommodate us. This was absolutely perfect! The host had left plenty of everything for us to use. The house was clean and had even set up a Christmas tree. We all felt very welcome. You have a beautiful home."

"The Historic Golden Lodge was so warm and welcoming! The owners, Stephanie and Tim were not only friendly, they helped us deal with a car issue by giving us the support we needed that made the situation workable. We were so thankful! They even provided us with waffle mix and maker to make waffles in the morning. The lodge is was decorated perfectly for a rustic setting. The kitchenette had what we needed to prepare our meals.
