"The front desk guy was friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth. However, I had a concerning experience during check-in. Someone on the phone, who was said to be the owner, asked the staff to pass the phone to me to talk directly. If the owner wants to speak with customers, he should be present at the front desk instead of handling things over the phone. I was also uncomfortable that they collected my ID and kept a copy of it. This could potentially lead to misuse of personal information. Overall, the staff at the desk was good, but the management practices need improvement. 4/10"

"When you drive up to the hotel you will be aghast at the conditions of the building. Paint peeling, boards broken and a lawn mower sitting at the front door. Once in the building things look better. You can see where the renovations in the building start and stop. We were tempted not to stay but gave the facility a chance. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was extremely limited, and we did not partake in the juice boxes and granola bars offered. I think I would give the facility another chance once the renovations are complete. Until the renovations are complete, I would recommend the facility be closed. "
