« If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay. »

« Husband & I spent 2 nights at Captain Wohlt for our Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with the upgrade that was given to us upon arrival. The accommodation was perfect and very nicely renovated. We enjoyed the live music on their beautiful outside patio area on Friday night along with the fresh cookies in our room each day. Great location and close to everything. Will definitely be back!! »

« Room was lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable. Manager was reluctant to reprogram our air conditioner thermostat to enable to set it cooler even after we told her it was too hot at night. She finally acquiesced. Other than that, our requests were handled quickly and effectively. »

« A beautiful property. Unfortunately we were met by a dead armadillo (under the waterfall that is not functioning) and multiple dead koi fish (in the cute little pond they have at the entrance, but not cute when you look in it) Besides the dead animals, the stay was pleasant and staff was friendly. We stayed 3 nights, and were told s’mores were available and a fire would be lit every night for them. Not a single night did they light it, and by “s’mores time” all the staff had already gone home...
