8/10 Very good! (1,012 reviews)
Several items in the bathroom need attention. The chair in our room almost put my husband on the floor. The pool is being "upgraded", so okay. When we returned from dinner there were no lights on outside - not in the entry, not the sign. And no coffee for breakfast!

7.6/10 Good! (1,003 reviews)
The main parking lot was closed due to repairs to the underground parking lot and you had to park across the street. When I got to my room, my key cards didn't open the door so I had to return to the front desk to get new ones programmed. Staff in the evening weren't very friendly and was agitated when I asked for a couple of trash bags. The hotel itself was okay but the pop machines on the 6th, 5th, 4th, and 3rd floors didn't work so I had to use the one in the Lobby. My next trip to Des Moines will not be at this hotel.

wonderful hotel but they could upgrade their toilets as they are kid size, they belong in a preschool setting. Tall people will have a hard time with those.
