The rooms came with every amenity that you could think of they even had magnifying mirrors and outlet converters for all our plugs We ate dinner there each evening and that was freshly prepared and delicious Tons of options for breakfast which was included in our Steye and again the food was delicious

Fantastic find in Sandton
We have stayed in many places and been disappointed, not so with this establishment. It rates a 10 in every aspect. We were very very comfortable. Will definitely recommend it. Well done the Oasis team.

Although I have stayed at other properties in the area, this was my first time staying at the Oasis. It is a lovely place in which the owners make you feel as if you are staying in a family home.

So impressive!
We loved the Oasis! Every little detail has been cared for and arranged. The owners/managers were incredibly welcoming and gave us thorough guidance and orientation. We had a gift basket waiting in our room and were given champagne in celebration of their 10 year anniversary.

An enjoyable 4 nights
Rather than staying in a bulk standard chain hotel this very nice boutique hotel was an excellence choice. The hotel room was very comfortable, the food was wonderful and the hosts very friendly and will help you with anything you need. Will certainly be back on my next visit and recommend this to any colleagues who are also visiting.

Wonderful Place to Stay
Stayed at the Oasis for 2 nights prior to safari and one night after and it was outstanding both stays. The owners are friendly and welcoming even when we were 4 hrs late due to delays in air travel. They have seen to everything you could want. The rooms are comfortable and exquisitely decorated. Breakfast is so good...fruit was my favorite and you can get hot food cooked to order. If you are hungry later, make a snack, items are provided for you. The bar is well stocked and the Internet works very well. If you miss your dog, pet theirs...she is very friendly. I would highly recommend The Oasis to anyone needed a place to stay in Johannesburg.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly owners, staff.
Stayed here back in October. The rooms & grounds are gorgeous, the staff lovely & the owners friendly, helpful & professional. We really wanted to experience a South African braai (BBQ) & they let us use the one there to cook a lovely meal. They provided all the prepared food which was superb & cleaned up after. A perfect end to our trip. They were also able to offer us a late check out as requested for a nominal fee which made our last day so comfortable. If I was being particularly picky, the security to get in & out is a little hard to get used to at first but I guess it is better to be safe. It wasn't a big deal & I guess in SA it is a way of life. I couldn't recommend this place more, it was perfect. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Grest Stay
The hotel was very nice and secure. The staff were very kind and friendly and very accommodating to all my needs. The hotel is in a decently safe location but cabs, cars or shuttles are a must. The airport shuttle is expensive but worth the location stay.

Beautiful and comfortable boutique hotel
Lovely accommodation and wonderfully attentive service at the Oasis. The only slight downside is that it is tucked away in the suburbs and a taxi or Uber is required to get anywhere. However this is a small thing. I highly recommend it.

Thank you for your review. As space was never an issue, Johannesburg has become a sprawling metropolis and everything is far from everything. Travelers often have to make a choice as to what the top requirement on their list is and this usually means sacrificing something else.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oasis. It is a home away from home. Pleasant helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and secure. Although our dinner experience was not good, breakfasts were great with a variety of options and the availability of snacks through the day is a nice bonus if you are around all day.

My wife and I live in Johannesburg and decided once every few months just to get away from home we book a night at a guesthouse for a romantic getaway. So this time we decided on The Oasis. The owners and staff are amazing. They always willing to help. Rooms are quite nice as well, we had room 10, spacious and quiet with your own little courtyard like space. I'd definitely recommend this over a normal hotel.

Heaven!
This is a fantastic place to stay. The breakfast is vast and delicious and self-serve snack foods are available all day, so if you feel a bit peckish there's no need to leave the property. And you won't want to. Besides the comfortable and well-appointed rooms, there is a lounge, plenty of shady or sunny places to sit outside and another covered open-air lounge. In addition the Rivonia village mall is 1 km walk away, so shopping is close by. Recommendations from the owners were always top notch. Although there are cats and dogs, they aren't allowed in the rooms, so no allergy problems. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat and really did not want to leave.
