Pestana Royal is a very outdated hotel. If you are looking for clean modern look that is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place with high quality food that is not the right place. Food quality is very poor. It is a very mediocre place with clean rooms and very mediocre food.

The front desk staff were very helpful, booked our 40 th wedding aniversary redturant, decorated our room, to celbrate our anniversary, provided some vegan celebratory sweets, and at breakfast made extra effort in providing a personalised fruit platter
