Floating Altar #1

Located on the Joanópolis Reservoir, an enchanting place about 2 hours from São Paulo, Floating Altar #1 was our first home. Home, but you can call it a boat. After all, this naval project isn't near or around the reservoir, but in the center of it. Floating Altar #1 has everything you need to enjoy this incredible place. A fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals overlooking the reservoir, while the queen bed ensures a comfortable night's sleep. Inside, you can also enjoy an exclusive movie session with the Nebula projector while warming up by the fireplace. Outside, in addition to the reservoir surrounding you, you also have a private deck with a Noori barbecue, parasol, and sun loungers. A record player with vinyl records allows you to complement the ambient sound with quality music. Our altar is anchored and does not move from its position. Its orientation only changes depending on the wind direction. This means that you will not have just one view, but several throughout the day, according to the mood of the winds. It is worth highlighting that the house is self-sufficient and autonomous. Its design and construction make it waste-free, as it was custom-made, with some recycled materials and no waste. The structure is metallic, with cementitious panels, a ventilation and lighting system that prioritizes natural solutions. Thermal and acoustic comfort is achieved through the special wall covering of the house. All the wood used is from reforestation. It's a floating house, but it could be called a boat. It's a naval project, executed with the most modern engineering techniques. Because it's a vessel, the house is equipped with personal flotation devices and fire extinguishers, following Navy regulations.
