When we firat arrived the staff was friendly. We went to our room and it went downhill from there. The master bedroom air conditioning was broken, was told would fix the next day. We were offered a fan in 90 degree weather. No thank you. There was no other villas available at the time so they made up the 3rd bedroom, as we only booked a 2. The shower had no hot water or water pressure. The tub would not drain. Was told would fix the next day. The door on the 2nd bedroom would not close properly so bugs could come and go as they pleased. We were told would fix the next day. The room,3rd bedroom smelled terrible. The pool bath was so dirty I would not even let a dog in it. The kichen was also dirty with not everything as listed in it. Water dispenser missing, mini bar missing, water kettle missing. Wifi was not working, was told would fix tomorrow. We were hungry when we arrived but to our surpise the restaurant closes at 2pm. Oh, and managers reception as listed on the website does not really happen. Oh, and the bar listed on the site is also not there. The breakfast was horrible. We stayed 1 night as we really didnt have a choice. I spoke with Expedia the night we arrived with all the problems and they called the property and was told no manager was on duty. The next morning Expedia called back and was told the manager was on vacation. We spent 5 nights there. 3-bedroom villa is actually 2 buildings - one single storey (king bed) and 2-storey (2 x twin beds), with 3 doors/keys, and open sheltered living/dining space + kitchenette. There are no cooking utensils but you can tell the staff if you need them. Around two stray cats/kittens roam around but they don't cause any problems. Can get noisy depending on neighbours - also people could walk into your villa area as the gate facing common pool cannot be locked. But it didn't happen to us though and we didn't face any problems... probably as it was off-peak period. WiFi Internet connection is only available in living area but not strong/usable enough in the rooms. TV set is really small in bedroom...maybe 20" or 23". Breakfast that was included free is basic but ok - fried noodles/rice, sausages, eggs, croquettes, toast, pancakes, croissants, cornflakes yoghurt, fruits, coffee, tea etc. Staff were quite friendly and helpful- we experienced a no-show by a water-rafting agent and they helped us try and contact them. Place is a bit old and condition not great but okay/acceptable for vacation price-wise. If you're doing your own laundry, a very long rope to tie around the pillars of the dinning area to hang clothing would be very useful. Common area (tv and dining area) and kitchen is not aircon (well maybe i didn't study more thoroughly before I book), and very hot without usable fans (there's 1 big fan is above dining table but i can feel 0 effect of the wind created by this fan, more like making the roof look good rather than being used as a fan). When you call about problems hotel always say yes and check (which is nice), but never really revert back whether problem being addressed, I had to call to be noted that problem is being solved every time, training needs to be given to improve on reverting. People are genuinely nice and pleasant, just need more training. Rooms are clean. This is more like 4 hotel bedrooms surrounding a common area, kitchen and swimming pool, not 4 bedrooms under the same roof. Privacy is not so good since public pool access is very open and anyone can walk into your common area. Please check well before you book. I dislike this just because the basics not being right, the in-room aircon being bad and water problem, which already kill any desire to come back. Two weak points are insufficient hot water for shower and poor wifi connect, which are quite irritating. Was really quite dodgy. I booked a pool villa. When I checked in I had no pool. After complaining I was told the villa I booked had electrical issues and was not available till the next day. I was moved to a 4 bedroom villa with a pool for one night and told I had to change next day which was annoying as I was unable to unpack and settle in. Next day I had to pack up and was taken to a 2 bedroom villa which I was unhappy with as the view was a brick wall in one villa and the other had no bath tub. They then took me to a 3 bedroom villa which was just plain strange !! Turns out they do not have one bedroom villas at all, they just lock off the other villas and sell them all as one bedrooms. Also these villas as NOT at all private. You can see into the next one very easy. Also the staff just wander in and out without knocking or calling and twice I was caught undressed by staff wandering around which is just soooooo rude and disrespectful. The restaurant is horrible too but they give you the option of taking breakfast in your villa. They were happy to take us to a small shopping mart for 50,000 Rupiah each way. Staff were more than happy to help out any way they could, very polite and engaging.
