Wonderful Stay
This was our third year staying in Apartment D and we have already booked for next year. Chad & Jeffrey are amazing hosts. Their apartment is clean, eclectic, and very comfortable. We love that we can bring our dog and that there is such great outdoor space. We always enjoy relaxing by the fire in the chimney to unwind. The location is ideal and the steam shower is the perfect way to end a day of walking around town. See you next year…

Amazing stay and amazing host
This property far exceeded our expectations. Perfect location and adorable apartment. Everything here was perfect for us. The host was easily accessible and accommodating. He was hands down the best host I’ve encountered on VRBO. Jeff gave us a list of locals activities as well as local restaurants. I will definitely stay here again. The place is dog friendly too, which is even more of a bonus.

The apartment is gorgeous, the kitchen has everything you may need, the porch has a great view, and the location is super convenient as long as you don’t mind the short uphill walk as you come back from downtown (it was nothing to me but my friend with joint issues needed a quick break). We were allowed to park on the property early so we walked right across the street for the Old Jail tour until check in. We didn’t expect to need the washer and dryer until we did so thankfully detergent was provided. The Roku tv was convenient as well. The only thing we’d like to see added is throw blankets to get cozy while watching tv. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

Great spur of the moment getaway
Apartment D was wonderful. It was wonderful inside and the outside space was fantastic. Having a parking space was also in valuable. Jeffery was very responsive and extremely helpful with recommendations of restaurants and activities.

Perfect Weekend Getaway Spot
This was our second year staying here for Thanksgiving and we plan to be back next year. Perfect location, clean, well-appointed, great hosts. The wonderful extras like the steam shower, fireplace, and outdoor patio with chiminea make this cozy apartment exactly what is needed to relax and just get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday demands. Thank you Jeffrey and Chad for being wonderful hosts and allowing our dog to accompany us too!

This spot is a complete gem! Perfect for a couple who wants to get away in the quiet (but lots to do town) of Jim Thorpe. An easy walk to all of downtown, and a quick drive to the hiking/biking/water sports spots. The service from the owners was fantastic, and its clear they care very much about both the property and their town.

What a pleasant surprise this property was! Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Loved the spa bathroom. Every room was so spacious. We only stayed one night, but we love Jim Thorpe, and will be back for a long weekend get away soon!

A MUST STAY
Absolutely loved this location. My boyfriend and I stayed for a quick over night. The patio and sauna were our favorite amenities but the entire apartment design and aesthetic is even better in person! I would highly recommend this stay for a couple. Super fun and we will be booking again(:

This house was fantastic! Greeted by the property manager upon arrival, the check in process was simple. The apartment was beautiful and spotless. Gorgeous bathroom, heated floors , and a sauna, perfect for a weekend getaway in the winter. We enjoyed everything and would return again.

This apartment was beautiful and I highly recommend staying here! The place was lovely and very well decorated. It was very clean as well. The bathroom and sauna are amazing and very luxurious. Beautiful tucked away and private apartment. The amenities were amazing (my husband LOVED the steam shower), and the apartment was comfortable/cozy yet modern. Wish it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the awesome deck and fire pits. Private trails are a nice way to get outside without going on a big excursion. The best part was Jeffrey and Chad. Always accessible, responsive and very knowledgeable of the area with great suggestions. We will be back!

Perfect for our anniversary getaway!
My husband and I stayed 3 days and it was amazing! The cabin- like apartment was perfectly cozy. We walked from there into town to explore, eat out and walk along the river. We were 30 minutes from blue mountain where we spent a day snowboarding and then loved the built in sauna afterwards. A Movie and Breakfast in front of the little gas fireplace was perfect as well. We ventured 45 minutes to check out Bethlehem for a couple massage (the local massage studio was temporarily closed), which was another beautiful little town to experience for a day trip. Chad and Jeffrey were incredibly helpful and kind. The accommodation was perfectly clean with lovely little touches. I would definitely come back to see Jim Thorpe spring other seasons and stay here!

What an Amazing Rental!!!
I absolutely loved this place! Cute, cozy, unique, rustic, and homie..home... Chad the property manager is great, friendly and helpful... I will definitely be staying here again !! I had my dog with me as well , it was great for him as well.. Great outdoor deck area he got to enjoy and loved it !!! The town is so beautiful and friendly , all the shops and different place to eat were amazing as well .. I loved waking up to it being nice and quite outside , was soothing hearing the church bells ring .. I Highly recommend this property !!

Perfect retreat
I lost my husband the beginning of November. I wanted a quiet retreat to come to grips with what has occurred. The High Street management treated me with the greatest respect and showed such compassion for what I was going through. My apartment was perfect for what I needed, was very clean and orderly, and anything I could possibly want all It took was a phone call to the management and I received it. I will be coming here again hopefully with my daughters as a retreat in the near future. I highly recommend High Street Guest House as a perfect place to unwind and further enjoy this rich little community.

This was our first stay in Jim Thorpe and we absolutely loved it. It started with detailed information about the town and apartment from Jeffrey. The apartment was very welcoming with warm lighting and the fireplace left on for us upon arrival. It was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The sauna was such a nice luxury after walking all over town in the cold and we enjoyed a nice fire on the patio. The location is perfect. We will definitely be back.

weekend stay to take the bike train
The place was great and the amenities were wonderful. My wife and I came up to take the bike train and a 25 mile ride, not realizing there would be rain. Having a washer and dryer was a real bonus after the ride being soaking wet. The fireplace was the best spot to rest and recover after the ride. We look forward to making the trip again - without the day of rain this time.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this property and the host. The outside area is adorable and perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The steam shower is everything, and the heated floor in the bathroom is fantastic! You can easily walk to all the attractions/restaurants in town. Jeffrey was quick to respond to any questions we had and gives so much great information on the town. We will definitely be staying at this, or any of his other properties again!

Very pleased , looks exactly as advertised. Location is good , you can walk to almost everything from the house . Having parking is a plus ! This was my 2nd stay with Jeff and Chad at there location. Always a great experience! Clean, easy, relaxing enjoyable experience. Apartment D was great..the decor , location, and spotless condition. Interesting stay
Well during our check in we ran into issues. Someone decided to take over our stay instead of staying in the room they booked. However the two gentlemen that run the place were super quick to resolve the issue. I called them and they were there in seconds. They were super friends and helpful. We ended up staying in a different room because we just wanted to get checked in and showered. The room we stayed is was very clean! Even with the mix up that was no fault of the owners I would recommend this place to anyone.

Jim Thorpe is a unique town with plenty to see and do, and this place is in the perfect location. Quiet setting with walking access to Broadway for restaurants and historical sites. Amenities are luxurious and very comfortable. Communication with the owner included much helpful information for suggestions of local sites. I stayed here with my little dog, and we walked to the dog friendly restaurant Marion Hose Bar, an old fire house, and enjoyed dining on the patio. I would definitely stay here again!
