Most terrible way to throw your money. They don't have elevator, don't offer water bottles and nobody comes to clean the room or bathroom. The staff tries to help but have limited resources. This should be rated 0 on the scale!
I paid for 2 days. Stayed about a hour and was charged for 2 days. Can’t find anyone to refund me anything.
Just another seedy motel. The room itself was nice at first glance. Two beds. Nice seating and kitchen area. But when you turn on the lights you can see sticky dust on most of the surfaces. Dust on the sheets. Microwave smells weird. Food finger prints on the windows. Hair and dirt in the refrigerator. I use about half a pack of Clorox wipes and tried cleaning to make it better but gave up after about 30 minutes.
Checked out and requested a refund. I was told refunds can only be issued by the manager. Expedia and Super 8 were no help at all. I have been calling the site a few days a week for about 90 days but the manager is never available through phone or email. I feel like this is just a scam.
The location is nice if you want to go to the Mall however you cannot walk there. Walking is prohibited in this area. I stayed because Expedia told me this was close to Columbia University and it wasn't there is also a $20 toll everytime you cross the bridge to go to NYC. The accomodations were nice. I have no complaints about the physical location. The bath tub I cleaned myself but everything else for the price was great.

This hotel do not have elevator but only have stairs. It’s No good for handicapped customers.

The room was not properly sealed for temperature changes, the cleaning of the room and rotation of soap, shampoo, trash removal, towels, coffee complementary products was only provided at the beginning. I hear other guests complain about the same. The front door allowed cold air to flow into the room causing noise and change of temperature without control. Bottom gap was about 1 inch.
At regular price they were charging people 160$ plus a100 incident deposit. While the room had order, tubs weren't clean, property is in need of renovation.
Ordered 5 rooms for 2 nights. One room the shower was broke. They would not change the room but instead have repair come into the room while belongings were still their and try fixing the shower. 2 family members had to wait in lobby while they worked just to realize the repair was not going to happen, and now supervisor agreed to change room. Water ran out quickly in all showers to cold. Put a $500 deposit hold on my card fir 3 days to get back. This place post on different websites breakfast is included but BEWARE ITS NOT.
We arrived in the early afternoon and hotel staff refused to allow early check in. Problem was we were stuck there and there was only one seat in the lobby the size of a show box. And there was no place close by we could walk to to pass the time. The road didn’t even have a sidewalk.
We’ve stayed there in the past but will never stay at a Windham property again. .
Don’t book this pathetic hotel. It’s not a hotel, a lodge at best. Guests smoking weed, no elevator, room lacks basic facilities. Shady location of the property. Not suitable for family stay.

the rooms needs some more cleaning beside than that everything was ok
I generally think I got what I paid for, the sheets seemed a bit dirty, but other than that I had a fantastic experience! Next time I go to New York I will make sure to go there again!
None of the telephones work in the rooms and also there is a huge gap between the floor the doors leading into the hotel rooms and it causes huge drafts of cold air to come in…. on top of that, I thought I had left my iPad charger in the room and the guy behind the counter, gave me an attitude and would not even go check in the room.. he said if housekeeping would’ve found it, they would’ve brought it.. I said, can we go check he said he was too busy..
