Jensen, Utah, is best visited during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months, when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities.Spring offers mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring Dinosaur National Monument without the intense heat of summer. The plant life begins to bloom, adding to the scenic beauty. This period is particularly good for families, as the conditions are comfortable for activities like hiking and fossil hunting, and the park isn't as crowded as in peak summer.Autumn also provides comfortable temperatures, generally between 10°C and 20°C, and the landscape is often adorned with changing leaf colours, especially along the Green River. This season is superb for couples seeking a quieter experience, with fewer visitors than in summer, allowing for more serene exploration of the monument's trails and overlooks.
