We left Savannah at 7am to avoid traffic because when we left 10 the day before we got trapped in major traffic on I-95. So be warned that the early bird catches the worm. The bathrooms were alright but because this was the busiest rest stop (I mean packed) the washrooms were pretty gross). Inside the welcome centre there was a lady that handed out fresh squeezed Florida orange juice and grapefruit juice. So good and refreshing because it got really really hot and humid when we arrived here. We were able to cook several meals easily. The location is perfect for VSU visitors. There was a fan issue that the host handled quickly. It is an older home so there are so bugs in the back room. Possibly ants in the wall. We brought it to the owner’s attention and are hopeful that she takes care of it before we return for a future visit.
