Souplex apartment with a shared pool, 15 minutes from the beach.

Apartment on the first floor of the homestay. It is located in flexible, well lit, with windows in each room and roller shutters. It is well maintained. All bedding is new. Bed linen and towels are provided, but some people like to bring their pillows please let us know in advance. In the main room there is a television, a dishwasher, a microwave, a mini-oven, an induction hob, a fridge freezer, an electric kettle, two coffee makers including a senseo and all the essential crockery for four people and finally two armchairs. A white shoe chest with two green cushions. For people who stay more than two weeks we will make our washing machine available in the laundry room just for the purchase of the detergent.
Pets are not allowed, because we have a York that does not support dogs or cats.
Although the apartment is a homestay, you are completely autonomous with a gate entrance for you and a driveway to park your car
You are at the back of the house so you have the use of the lawns. The pool is shared and will be open for you from 11 am to 5 pm because in the morning it is cleaned. It is salted (so chlorine-free). The solar shower is mandatory before diving. The pool is 1.50 deep. We ask you to close the pool as soon as you leave it. We are on the terrace in front of the house and we cannot manage it. We ask you to be careful especially if you come with young children. You will also have a gas barbecue available. For those who come with a young child we have a travel cot and a high chair.
The street is one-way so quite quiet There are activities every evening at the port 2 km away or in the city centre. The beaches are 15 minutes walk away. There are 3 bakeries in Jard, a delicatessen, a butcher's shop, a super U and a PMU. From the apartment everything is done on foot. There is a superb market, on Monday morning you are very lucky, you can go there on foot since we are in the city centre. On Wednesdays in summer (July and August) you have the market of local products, on Wednesday and Thursday evening the night market. Everything on the program.... And lots of activity in July and August there is something for everyone...
Cycle paths, which can take you to visit the neighbouring villages, do not hesitate to bring your bikes, they can be parked with us, they will be protected.
There is a surf school 7km away in Longeville sur Mer. The racecourse of Les Sables d'Olonnes is 8 KM away if you want to spend a nice evening. Admission is 5 euros.
Ile de Ré 40 km away is accessible even by boat to see with the tourist office;
Ile Noirmoutier 105 km and the Puy du Fou 95 km
Lots of activity in the Vendée bocage for children (fanfarine: theme park on the life of bees, the castle of adventurers....).
