"We had an outstanding stay at Tinkersfield and can't wait to return. Usually the photos of a listing are better than real life however the opposite is true for this accommodation. The location is remote and quiet yet very easy to get to, and checking and directions were spot on. The design and layout is stunning and straight out of a style magazine (literally!) - we loved every part of it. Large bedroom and bathroom with a great dining and living space. The wood fire was lovely for the cold...

The decor, bar, dining and games areas brought back childhood memories of family holidaying in the 70's. "The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable."
