In the other direction there are many large churches nearby of various denominations with beautiful neighborhoods filled with historic homes. I understand the owners can’t dictate what others do but we would not stay there again. That’s a shame because it was a nice comfortable place to stay. We did not need a car for the majority of our stay because it is so easy to walk to stores, restaurants in three directions (the fourth direction would be directly into the river!). Even though the weather didn't favor us (we were there when ETA moved through), we were still able to shop and explore the neighborhood. We were concerned that we were so close to the hospital but we did not experience unending sirens - only a few times during our stay and never in the middle of the night.
