Great Staff

Pros: The Valet.
Cons: Room service was not the best on this stay. The guy who answered the phone was so rude and disinterested that I decided to go to Ruth Chris instead.
The Front Desk Staff was very accommodating and supportive. They made me feel welcomed and seemed to sincerely care about my comfort and experience.

Reasonable hotel on river walk.

Clean, comfortable hotel with pleasant staff in good location, and a lovely pool overlooking river. Sadly, one of our two rooms was opposite the noisy elevator and the other opposite the ice machine. The elevator was busy through the night, disturbing sleep all night long. Reject your room immediately if near elevator!

I spend to much money for the room and by the end its nothing

It was ok but not great

Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms are small
We selected this based on the location. It was ok but for the price we paid, it would have been better. Overall nothing great but nothing to compare either. Room was little small.

Not up to Doubletree standards in the room.

The room was functional but not ideal. The bathroom had a piece of coax hanging out of wall for a past or future tv. There were no hooks on back of door or walls to hang clothes. The shelf next to sink/above toilet was broken. So, any toiletries would slide off into toilet. There was a separate counter but not next to sink. The room was clean but felt old. Not up to what I'd expect from doubletree. Rates are high due to location but room did not reflect the premium price. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is convenient and it sits right on the river.

Didn't like Jacksonville

Nice view, small beds. We expected a little more for the $190 a night after tax.
