Plumbing does not drain.

Stayed in two different rooms and both bathtubs did not drain. Had to stand in water to shower. Tooth paste splatter on mirror and tubs had grit like sand but not near the beach. No refrig in room. Stayed at this hotel when it was Crowne Plaza and it was much better...gone down hill.

Pros: View, large rooms, comfortable
Cons: Maintenance on slider doors. Wallpaper in our bathroom was lifting.
Location: River Front walk way and 3 restaurants.
Exceptional service from hotel guest services (Tomena) during check in and the following day. She is a great asset to this hotel. Her recommendations and genuine personality did not go unnoticed. So much appreciated! Rooms could use a little maintenance, but we enjoyed the view so much that we added an additional day. Fresh chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon.

Great Hotel for a Short Stay in Jacksonville

Cons: Clean showers better or re-caulk to remove mold.
This resort has recently been renovated. The reviews and description said there was a parking fee but we were not charged anything. Simply bring your self parking ticket to the check in desk and they will validate for free parking. The lobby was beautifully decorated. Room was also renovated but the shower had mold in the corners. Would stay here again.

Pros: It was close to family that we were visiting
Cons: Train the housekeeping personnel better.
Location: The river taxi was nice.
As we were accessing our room, a housekeeper was dragging an bag of trash down the hall. The trash bag was leaking some type of liquid all the way down the entire length of the hall. Disgusting!

We could hear the neighbors and their TVs on both sides of us. A door connecting our room to the room next to ours might as well just have been open by how bad the acoustics were. Could hear every person in the hall, too. Even though on 5th floor, could hear traffic outside. The vending machine only dispensed Coke, no matter what we chose. Had to go to lobby to exchange them. Keurig machine had just 1 coffee pod for master suite. Room service has poor selection and got our order wrong. No mini-fridge in room. No tub in room- only shower. The valet was great!

Doubletree was nice. Clean rooms, good staff and good food were all positive attributes. We enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the small bathroom, but they did the best they could with what they had to work with. All my stays at Doubletree have been great.

Staff was great neighbors were horrible,hotel was OK. It's easy to get lost in the lobby,poorly labeled,signage, ect. Not returning,I was unimpressed.

Had a nice stay. Room was nice.
