The manager was so unprofessional and rude. The day of check out around 10:30 his wife came to our room didn’t knock she just open the door and said Hey I said Heyy what are you doing she said I just wanted to let you know that check out is at 11:00 I told her you could’ve knock or call. They are so RUDE

Service still means something
Quick overnight so didn’t expect much. Room was fine and bed comfortable. Disappointing breakfast as they ran out of food by 8am and did not have any coffee. The staff was sitting behind counter listening to music. Not a bad hotel but just disappointing that customer service in our country has taken such a poor turn.

The hotel looks fine from the outside, so I went in person to inquire about reserving a suite that would fit 4 people. The front desk quoted me at a rate that was more than $20 Hotels.com. He was not too happy that I chose to go through a 3rd party to book. He told me that he was going to have to charge me a fee for an extra person. I showed him that the reservation was for 4 people and should not be charged. Later, I came back to ask for more towels & bedding for the pullout couch. There were only 3 regular sized towels. The same man told me that there was an EXTRA charge for more towels. I again reminded him that the reservation was for 4 people, & we should receive 4 towels. He gave me exactly 1 more towel and a fitted sheet and regular sheet. When I pulled out the couch, there were multiple Ritz crackers in the folding of it. I was so creeped out. Then we attempted to use the sheet, & there were the most disturbing looking stains on both of them. Without being too graphic, they looked like bodily fluids. By this time, I just didn’t have the mental fortitude to deal with this grouchy man who was trying to nickel and dime me for standard/substandard accommodations. My daughter went to exchange the disturbing looking sheets and came back with mildly less scary looking ones. Their dryer wrecks their sheets supposedly, and the less stained looking replacements were “the best I can do”. At 8:30 before we even out a man from housekeeping was knocking on our door.

They charged me $40 to check in early, even though the hotel was empty and rooms were available. They didn't have to go out of their way to get us an early room. The room they gave me was in use, flowers all over the bed and floor and a used condom on the bed.

Quick One Night Stay
We arrived early from New Orleans to attend a wedding tried to have early checkin which was unavailable that was a bummer since we had to prep & get ready as the wedding was at 3pm, ended up going to friends hotel since they were already checked in to get ready other than that quick checkin thereafter, room was clean and really nice I was impressed, spacious bathroom & room, it’s located near alot of eateries will recommend if in the area.

I got to the hotel around 8pm and they told me the hotel was over booked and I should’ve been told by the 3rd party. I did not receive any notice. The whole city was booked due to college homecoming. My family and I had to drive to find a hotel, ended up at a Super 8 that was discussing.

When attempting to check in the attendant said she didn't have any more rooms, because she had just rented the rest of them to some immigrants coming to the area to work! There were three women there with the same problem. I informed her that my room was prepaid, and she better come up with the room and she finally did!

This is the 2nd time this year that I have made reservations through Expedia for the Laquita Inn and Suites and once I arrived they had overbooked and I had no room. Had reservations in hand but no rooms. Both times they blame Expedia for the overbooking. Will not book rooms at Laquita never again. There were several other guest that were in the lobby when I arrived that had the same situation,. This needs to be fixed. Aweful

From Chicago to Mississippi Family Reunion trip. I booked 3 rooms one of them accessible. Looks like they are under construction that should have been mentioned during booking dust and working smell throughout the hotel. Laundry room not accessible and woking ice machines was on 1st floor we were on the 3rd. Elevator went out and my Parents in accessible room couldn't move during that time so we missed going out for dinner I had to fine something to eat and bring back to hotel. I asked for a discount on their room for the inconvenience but the owner said it was not his fault and out of his control about the elevators. I understand he didn't cause the Elevators to stop but he could have been considerate that my parents couldn't leave for dinner. The construction was also on the third floor so it was dust and workers in the hallway and working outside the room doors. I called a week ahead to confirm reservations I feel like we could have been warned especially since we were coming so far maybe I could have found a hotel not under construction. Its pretty hard to find 3 rooms on the day of arriving if we wanted to try another hotel. The front staff Erica was the only person that tried to make the stay easier. Although the issues were not Eric's fault apologizing and saying I understand goes a long way. I hope my review is really read and they consider giving me a discount or refund on part of my parents room for there inconvenience. Overall I will nit be returning!

Rooms were in horrible condition. Refrigerators are old and disgusting, no hot water and it smelt like old wet carpet. Key card stopped working in the middle of the day. Also, as we were checking out, no one was at the front desk for at least 15 mins. Mind you, we were only there for a night.

I made reservations and contractually agreed to pay at the property on arrival, at check in. These crooks cancelled our reservations about 1:00pm, hours before check in, the same day we were do to arrive and totally messed up my trip. They ran my bankcard for payment before I even arrived at the property and accused be of having a bad card and cancelled my reservations because the card declined. When I called and spoke with hotel management I was told that they ran my card to check if it was good since the payment didnt go thru they cancel you out. I had to rebook at a much higher price, they would not honor the price I had on the previous reservation I had 2 rms booked. This what they did to 4 african american guest.
