The stairs are a little tough to climb but worth it in the end! Whether you\`re traveling for leisure, work, or a special occasion, Alice at The Banten House offers a charming, immersive experience that captures the essence of Jackson, Louisiana. With its unique themed rooms, historic charm, and prime location, it\`s the perfect home base for your adventures. Guests can use everything in the main house. The backyard and laundry room may be shared from time to time with guests that stay in the Courtyard Airbnb. We live nearby and will be available for anything you may need whether it be directions or information about things to do in the area. There is a great training area for Ironman competition that is popular as well as train museums and great dining walking distance. Multiple antique stores are a stones throw away as well if you want to spend the day antiquing. There is parking in front of the house and the entire town is easy to park and walk and very little traffic. No smoking indoors. Respect quiet hours from 10pm to 7 am. No parties or events. Please be careful with any of the decor. Be considerate of neighbors. Séjour de 1 nuit en octobre 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### SE F., Cumming, GA 8 oct. 2025 Points forts : Propreté A fun house for a ladies birthday weekend celebration for a friend which made it a unique experience. The house is decorated in the entire Alice in Wonderland theme with every room and section having some whimsical and clever design like in the story. Our favorite was the shrinking doors section of the home. The only issue with the home is the other two bedrooms are upstairs with the only bathroom being downstairs and the stairway is a little concerning to navigate if you have any elderly people with you. We left our suitcases downstairs as we were only staying one night. The stairway does have handrails to hold onto from beginning to end which helps.The owner/manager was exceptionally kind to help me with buying balloons and have it placed in the home when we arrived to surprise my friend. She even added a birthday cupcake/cake and sweet card to go with the balloons. The home is in Jackson in a quiet area and doesn't have a lot of activity but is close to St. Francisville if you want to avoid the higher rental costs you may find there but still be close to all of the fun shops and restaurants and events. ##### SE F.
