The bed in the wagon was extremely uncomfortable.

The covered wagons were really awesome! We slept in the King size bed - it was pretty comfortable. Because we considered this a "camping" trip, we brought all of our own bedding which I highly recommend. The mattress was stained and the bedding provided was old and you get the feeling, "not sure where it's been, or if it's been cleaned this year." Otherwise, sleeping in the wagon was cool! The super duper disappointment came with the restroom and restaurant facilities. Again, I don't mind using outhouses or rustic restrooms but these were constructed on a cheap trailer and they were filthy. So much dirt on the floor, rusty, dirty showers, no place to sit even basic necessity like toothpaste on the sink (not that you wanted to) but sometimes you have a few toiletries you need to bring into the bathroom with you. I could have dealt with it but the sheer amount of dirt and filth made me want to pee outside instead of in their restroom. The National Park Service's outhouses were WAY cleaner!! The service at the restaurant was sub-par. The waiter brought us rancid mayo. Not sure if it was that or the pink hamburger but we got food poisoning and the spent the night throwing up. The ranch itself is beautiful and would be worthy of another trip if the restrooms were re-built or cleaned up and the food service was improved. Hard to beat those views, the great rate and proximity to GTNP!!
