The room was spotless and the bathroom was very clean too. There isn’t an elevator and the stairs are pretty steep but the owners will help you with your luggage. The hotel is in a great location. If you walk up the hill you go past street vendors and cafes to the Main Street with Tram 1 to get around or it’s a short walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque (go first thing in the morning to avoid the lines). The main road is past souvenir stores and Turkish delight stores. It’s another short walk to the Golden Circle. The Grand Bazaar is the other direction. This was a very nice hotel with an unbeatable location! It’s just a short walk to major attractions like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and only about three minutes to the Grand Bazaar. It’s also very close to the sea and the Bosphorus cruise boarding points. Step out of the hotel, and you’re right in the middle of the action — surrounded by plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The connectivity to the rest of the city is excellent, making it a great base for exploring Istanbul. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. While the room size was quite small, it’s understandable given the prime location in the historic center.
