Don’t stay here if you want to sleep with an adequate AC on. I booked this hotel after checking the location, and the amenities it provided. We spent the first night, and it was good. The room, the service, etc. Then I went to another city, and told the hotel staff to book me for an extra two nights when I come back. I wish I didn’t. When we got back, they gave us a nicer room, but the problem was that the AC was barely blowing any air out. Mind you this is during the hottest time in Istanbul. I told the staff about the issue, and he assured me that he will send the technician to fix it. We went out , then when we came back I noticed that there is no improvement. The central air unit was blowing air, but it was not cold. I talked to the manager again, and he mentioned that the technician just fixed it and that I should be getting good AC. We slept that night, and it was really hot. In the morning; I repeated the concern to the front desk. They kept delaying that they are working on it or whatever it is. I requested that I be moved to a different room, and they honored that. HOWEVER, same issue! The AC was also weak in that room. At this point, I gave up on them. My wife and I moved the bed closer to the vent to get some air on us to be able to sleep. The hotel staff and management didn’t do anything to fix the issue, and they bluntly lied to me about “fixing it” to hush me up.
other than that, the hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and have nice touches to them.
