We have various room sizes and all of the room sizes are written in m2 on expedia.com and our web page, About our breakfast, since that majority of our guests have really good comments about our open buffet breakfast that includes various kinds of cheese, charcuterie, a wide choice of eggs (omelette, sunny side up, scrambeled … ) different types of croissants and our fresh made specilities that change every day such as quice, choclate chip cookies and borek which is a very traditional pastry, at least 4 types of fresh fruits everyday and also free of charge coffee selections during breakfast.We look forward to hosting you again soon. Friendly receptionists, clean room, nice breakfast buffet, convenient to shopping and restaurants. The room was small, the coffee maker tray was set on the night stand which made it useless.

Stayed on 3rd floor for 2 nights. Hotel is extremely noisy. Bad acoustics, noise from communal areas is heard in the room. The room doors slam close, this is incredibly annoying. You can hear every door slam. Surely there is a way to slow down the latching. There is virtually no noise insulation between rooms, I could clearly hear conversation, coughing, any noise, particularly shouting. Not enjoyable. The bedding is old, worn, and my room pillow case and duvet cover did not look fresh, in fact,the next day I could smell a stale odour from the duvet cover. It did not look or feel clean. I was checking out next day as it was short stop during business trip. The location is convenient to restaurants. I would not stay here again.

Great staff and perfect walkable location in Karakoy and Galata area, with quick access to Galata Bridge and the tourist center of Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again, in spite of some street noise from the bars/restaurants all around.

Room is very small no place to hang clothes . No microwave . No table and chairs to eat . Security at hotel is good. Very hopeful staff. I arrive 2 a.m in the morning front desk staff agree to buy food for me and my wife . So nice. Major problem messaging with hotel . They do not understand english very well. They assume what I request wrong without confirming my request. Also they agree to help me with travel inside turkey. . When I ask a question about visiting certain city. They refer me to find informations on the internet.

Galata’s Hotel is an official city center 4 star hotel, not an apart hotel so we do not have a kitchen nor a microwave in our rooms, all of our room facilities and room sizes are written very clearly on our web page and also on Expedia. Our sales team and front office team are fluent in English , we tried to find an email about your request but there is none. Our front office team is very helpful about everything as you know, but when it comes to arranging to travel to another city, it is something you need to do individually, they can only give you advices and suggestions. Galata’s Hotel is in the heart of the city, on a street that lives 24 hours a day, it can be noisy sometimes. But our location is worth it. If you had specified your bed type preference while staying at our hotel, we would have changed the room immediately. We are sad to hear that you did not enjoy our breakfast, since that majority of our guests have really good comments about our open buffet breakfast that includes various kinds of cheese, charcuterie, a wide choice of eggs (omelette, sunny side up, scrambeled … ) different types of croissants and our fresh made specilities that change every day such as quice, choclate chip cookies and börek which is a very traditional pastry, at least 4 types of fresh fruits everyday, we hope we can accomadate you again and this time maybe you will enjoy our breakfast  We hope to welcome you back at Galata’s Hotel.

The best hotel in Istanbul. The restaurant on the top floor is a must visit, the food is amazing, we didn't find better than that. The service was great, thanks to the staff.

Nice small hotel, great location, fantastic staff. Things to improve: cleaning, specially mopping/vacuuming of the room floor and also the room walls can use a fresh coat of paint.
