"We thoroughly enjoyed the pools, we used 2 of the 3. We ate at all of the restaurants in the resort, and the food was delicious. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not as comfortable. But the king size bed was massive! the balcony was also beautiful. There was a group checking in right before us, so the check in time took a while."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Isseksi?
The best areas to stay in Isseksi are generally in the heart of the village itself or just on its outskirts, offering a blend of traditional Moroccan life and access to the surrounding natural beauty.

For those looking for a truly authentic experience, staying within the main village of Isseksi is ideal. You'll find guesthouses and traditional riads located amongst the local dwellings, often with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. This central location provides easy access to local markets and allows you to experience daily village life. Couples seeking a romantic and culturally rich getaway would find this particularly appealing.

Families might prefer options slightly outside the immediate village centre, perhaps on the way towards the Cascades d'Ouzoud. These accommodations often offer a bit more space, sometimes with gardens or terraces, and provide a quieter setting while still being a short walk or drive from the village.
When is the best time to go to Isseksi?
The best time to go to Isseksi is during the spring (late March to early June) and autumn (late September to early November) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm and comfortable, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding Atlas Mountains and enjoying outdoor activities. Average daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 28°C, with cooler evenings, which is superb for those who enjoy hiking or simply relaxing in the pleasant climate.

Couples looking for a romantic and tranquil getaway will find these months particularly appealing. The landscapes are lush and green in spring, with wildflowers blooming, while autumn offers beautiful golden hues as the leaves change. This creates a picturesque backdrop for strolls through the countryside or enjoying meals on a terrace.
