"This was the first time that the place we'd booked turned out to be even more beautiful and spacious than it appeared in the photos! A 10 minute walk from a gorgeous beach, mobile grocery delivery, a lovely coffee shop down the road, a sustainable local stall in the other direction, just steps from the cottage, with a view of a beautiful mountain and bay from the living room and kitchen. "First time on Harris and Lewis and really enjoyed the house. It has its quirks (first holiday home ever with an over abundance of storage!) but was spacious and spotless. Had to reset the heating on the first night due to no hot water (the island suffered a total blackout the night before and knocked it out) but the hostess replied immediately and the problem was solved in minutes which was a huge plus. Recommended for anyone visiting the area"
