The cabin has a fully furnished kitchen, bathroom with shower, cable TV, electric fireplace, propane wall heater, AC, grill, deck with love seat, patio table and chairs, a full size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sofa sleeper so can accommodate two to four people. Due to no laundry on site you will have to provide your own towels, pillows, and bed linens. Bring your own boat that you can dock at our pier (boat launch is 500 feet from the cabin) or rent a boat and /or motor in nearby Crystal Falls, MI. or Eagle River, WI. Sunset Lake is a 600 acres and is known for great fishing of panfish, bass, walleye, and northern. Clean your fish in our fish house which has running water and a freezer for your catch. Enjoy swimming in the crystal clear water and make sure to bring your supplies for s’mores to enjoy as you have a campfire in the fire pit down by the lake. Get ready for sunset lakeside as it is absolutely beautiful and you will see for yourself that the lake has the perfect name. As darkness settles in the amazing stars and quite of the U.P. will leave you with a feeling of peace and contentment. Enjoy the county park 500 feet away which has a large playground, basketball courts, baseball field, and it’s own large swimming beach. Head into Iron River which is three miles west for supplies, shopping, great restaurants, amazing coffee and experience the hospitality of a beautiful small town. Ready for more fun? It’s a short distance to ATV and biking trails, explore the many waterfalls in the area, take a drive to Lake Superior, book a guide for fly fishing and check out the many public hunting areas in the State and Federal forests for your next exciting hunt for deer, bear, grouse, and duck. There are so many things to enjoy in the Beautiful U. P.
