We found our accommodations perfect for us. We thought we could walk to Lift 1 at Powderhorn, but the road was pretty fast and we didn’t feel comfortable so we did end up driving each day for snowboarding. It was, however, very easy to drive and we still wenback to chalet each lunchtime to eat. We played a lot of games, enjoyed the fireplace, and watched a couple of movies as a family.
