Fantastic place
We stayed two nights at this lovely place. It has everything you need to be comfortable. It was a large space for the two of us. So nice not to be tripping over suitcases and bags. We loved having a location just outside of town to make the driving easier. Alan was so helpful in making plans on what to do.

You won't be disappointed
Stayed here several nights in October 2023. This place is the best place we've stayed in on our Scotland travels. It is spacious, has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfy king bed, and super quiet. Alan showed us the apartment and provided us attraction brochures and provided dining suggestions. It's not in the hub of Inverness activities but everything is just minutes away by car. This would be our first choice of lodging if we were to travel back to Inverness.

A wonderful and quiet place in Inverness
An absolute delight to stay at, the house is in a quiet area with loads of wildlife but close enough to centre of Inverness to not be inconvenient, clean property with plenty of amenities not to mention the wonderful hosts that are wonderful to talk to and more helpful that some people's close friends. Highly recommended!

Delightful stay
Glasphein was an excellent place to stay in so many ways. Clean, well furnished, great amenities, great location, very comfortable bed, Alan was a very attentive and genuine host who had great communication, tips for local groceries, tips for local restaurants, and brochures for local touring ideas.

Allen was one of the highlights of our trip! He made it such a welcoming time, as this was our first time to Scotland. The place was phenomenal, homey, cute and very clean. They even welcomed us with a bottle of wine. The taxi service exactly knew where the house was located by the name, and it was a short bus ride to City Center and the Culloden Battlefield. Highly recommend!!!!!

Great location. Nice and quiet.
Alan was a wonderful host. The accommodations were excellent!! Alan met us when we arrived, showed us around, and offered suggestions based on our plans for the 2 days in Inverness. The bed was SUPER comfortable. Could not have asked for anything better!!!! Love the location. Just a few minutes from shopping and downtown. Thank you Alan.

Absolutely fabulous!
The property was accurately described when booking. So far, it is the best accommodation we have stayed at in the UK and we highly recommend it. The host was very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond. We loved seeing the deer outside our bedroom window! The place was spotless and the bed was very big and extremely comfortable.

Absolute Gem!
Wonderful, spacious annex close enough to town to not be a hassle, but secluded enough to provide peace and calm. Great pub and restaurant just 3 minutes away one direction, Tesco just 5 minutes away in the other direction. Getting to downtown Inverness is just a short jaunt and historical sites are all around you. This is, by far, the best place we have ever stayed, with the most accommodating and sweet hosts. Everything is in tip top shape and well thought out. In-unit washer/drier, fridge, range, sink... the whole shebang! Ample parking, beautiful property, king bed... we could not have asked or dreamt of more. the accommodations really helped us not have to worry about dealing with "everyday life" while on holiday, because Alan and Laura had already thought of it and made it easy. Alan was prompt with communication and met with us right away. He let us in and toured the annex with us. He and Laura have put together a couple visitor guides of places they have been and recommend for visitors including restaurants, pubs, activities and attractions... everything they recommended was top notch and truly made our trip so special. Accommodations are private but we felt more like guests and friends than renters. If Alan saw something neat happening around town that he thought we would be interested in, he would send us a quick message letting us know. This is definitely the place to be!

Was a little dubious when booking as the review scores were so consistent. We quickly decided that the previous reviews had been fully justified. Property is absolutely fabulous, as is the standards of hygiene and cleanliness. The hosts clearly pay a lot of attention to details. The welcome was warm, comprehensive and reassuring. We even got an introduction to the resident Roe Doe deer and her two fawns it was amazing to watch the youngsters playing around on the grass being watched by Mum. Really set us up for the day. Wont hesitate to re-book when we next visit Inverness. Thank you Alan and Laura
