Helmsburg Station pays tribute to the history of its quaint location as the original direct route from Indianapolis to Brown County via the railroad line. From Helmsburg, the rest of the route to Nashville was by horse and wagon or by foot.

This rental was everything we hoped for and more, perfectly matching the listing description. Ideal for a friends or a fun family getaway,. The house was impeccably clean—honestly, the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Thoughtful touches like plush spa towels, extra blankets, and pillows added so much comfort. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a fantastic bonfire area, corn hole boards, and a well-maintained gas grill. The hot tub was pristine and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. Our host, Ericka, was incredibly responsive, answering all my questions promptly. This property is an absolute gem—you can’t go wrong booking here! Highly recommend!

Stayed for a bachelorette party and the property was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the outdoor spaces just as much as the indoor ones. The fire pit was a huge favorite! The house is decorated so well and extremely clean! Everyone enjoyed the stay.

As four 70 year old women who have known each other over 55 years, we LOVED the porch swings by the shed. In just 42 hours, we laughed, cried, cooked and ate together, while catching up on our lives. Childhood diabetic grandson, Down syndrome granddaughter, developmentally handicapped adult son and physically handicapped husband. So heart-warming to have the support of dear, dear life-long friends. Thank you for the clean and beautiful accommodations. We all needed this get-away!

Off the Beaten Path

Beautiful place - wish we could have stayed longer! It was my husband and I, our three daughters and my parents. Everyone had their own place to sleep and there was so much to do on the property. Loved it!

Great property to enjoy a couple days away with friends. Easy drive into Nashville, IN for cute shops and restaurants. Owners are very accommodating and great to work with. House had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Lovely outdoor area

The cabin was in a great location for proximity to Nashville and brown county state park. The cabin was very nice. The backyard with fire pit and cornhole was very fun. Our issues were that the kitchen had no place for storage of food we brought and the pans and cooking utensils weren’t great for the number of guests. These were minor inconveniences and not a reason we would not revisit. Also we had to call the host for a tech issue and she responded very quickly.

30 flirty and thriving birthday bash

My daughters 30th birthday party with 8 of the closest women in here life. The cabin was so beautiful and the yard was absolutely incredible. Everything was clean and worked perfectly.
