The lodge has a pool table and serves delicious soup and dumplings! (Sadly, we are vegetarian and didn't get to taste them, but the group next to us absolutely raved and even requested the dumplings again for breakfast.) Best of all, CB, the host, was incredibly kind, friendly, and went out of her way to be helpful. We lost our car keys - obviously a huge hassle - and she offered both material and emotional support, giving us a ride to the mountain with all our suitcases and gear and lifting our spirits with her positivity and joyful energy. We wish her and the North Creek Lodge much success and happiness." They stayed a bit to make sure we felt at home. This was one of the quietest and most peaceful locations we have stayed at. After a day of skiing, we enjoyed relaxing in the sentou - custom built Japanese bath house. What a treat and felt like I was back in Japan - natsukashii! On our last day, we joined a few other guests for breakfast with the host. This totally made our stay as we got to talk directly with Leslie about the property's history and her building/development efforts. She is a wonder and a treasure! We definitely will stay here again! It was beautiful, spacious, and clean, with excellent amenities throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the great room was a warm, homey space where our whole family could gather. Beds were comfortable with lots of mountain views.The property was private and peaceful, with a truly remote location that was absolutely worth it for the quiet, lake and mountain views, and the four-season enjoyment this place offers. We did like the well-kept original cabin vibe.The host was exceptional—attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. They even provided a list of small items to bring to make our stay better, which was much appreciated. Firewood was available for purchase on site. Despite the remote location, the WiFi was excellent (no cell coverage), and there was great water pressure with plenty of hot water. Everything was easy and stress-free. We highly recommend this cabin and would happily stay again. We appreciate the great hosts."
