"The cabin is well stocked with kitchen items (even potato masher) and grill supplies. The river front was beautiful, but a little nerve racking with kids because the water moved quickly. We appreciate the linens, towels, sheets were washed in free and clear detergent."

"We had a nice stay and overall enjoyed our time here. The property was clean, had plenty of seating, and the host was very nice, responsive, and helpful. We stayed during the summer and chose the location because we were looking to enjoy some of the outdoor activities in the area. The house is conveniently located right off a main road, which made getting around easy. Walmart is about 15 minutes away, Old Forge is approximately 44 minutes, and Ager Falls is only about 10 minutes away. There are also several fishing spots within 5–10 minutes, and there is a park located right behind the house, which was a nice bonus. A few things we wish we had known ahead of time: because the property is located directly off a main road, there is some noticeable road noise, especially during the day. The stairs leading up to the bedroom are also fairly steep, which is something guests may want to be aware of, especially if traveling with young children or anyone who has difficulty with stairs. While the location is convenient for getting to different activities, it is not particularly close to Old Forge or some of the larger attractions, so keep that in mind when planning your days."

"Scheduling my time for a week at this cabin went very smoothly. The host was very responsive to my communications. The location was between Port Leyden and Old Forge so many options for outdoor recreation. We enjoyed the campfire area . The were many locations to purchase firewood. Prices a more expensive in Old Forge. If you are driving in from Port Leyden there is a seller of firewood about 8 miles from the camp who I would recommend. We took our small dog and the cabin worked out well. The Moose River across the road is beautiful to look at and swimming is a possibility. The cabin has an Adirondack feel with modern appliances ,TV and wifi that worked well."

"The host was very responsive of our questions. We were very satisfied with our stay and the convenience of the location. It is nearby Brantingham Lake and there is a convenience store and two restaurants. The home is modern and beautiful. It is nestled around trees. I would highly recommend."
Picturesque Adirondack Lake Home

"the property was clean and located on the lakefront. all amenities provided except we misunderstood that the towels provided were only bath towels so you would need to bring your own beach towels. Kayaking in the morning or just relaxing with a cup of coffee was beautiful. For the price, I would have expected basic supplies to last the full week. We had to take a trip to the nearby town to get paper towels and toilet paper. The internet service went out the last full day of the trip so some family had to leave early which was disappointing. Overall we had a great time the place is really nice but a little pricey."

"This house is absolutely beautiful! We had a group of 8 and we all fit comfortably and still had a few other possible places to sleep. Both of the lake access points were gorgeous (pictures from both) and being only 15 minutes from old forge was very convenient. All of the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would absolutely stay here again :)"
