"Excellent communication and process. Smooth check in and check out. Clean rooms. Neat property. One thing they should mention is that the access to the property is quite inclined and will be a steep walk for people with luggage. Secondly, since the reception is virtual, it closes at 7.30PM and then becomes difficult to approach for any services required. It was an excellent experience otherwise and will definitely want to stay here again."

There was nothing that I didn't like; it was perfect, and the entry directions to the building and room were absolutely clear and easy to understand. "The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

They answer every question and are very knowledgeable about the area. Stefano even stopped by to check on us and told us about the area. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"We stayed for a week. The apartment location was central to everything in one of the popular piazzas in the city. Unfortunately there were a few issues such as the shower being so tiny it was hard to even turn around (smaller than a cruise ship shower), no toilet seat on the toilet in the first bathroom, and the screens on the windows were broken/torn. This was important because we couldn’t turn the air conditioner on due to the dates we stayed and the laws in Florence which meant we had to keep...

Chiara communicated with us during the whole trip which made the check-in and check out process flawless. "Property was fine, nice and cool and very well situated. 66 steps up to the apartment was challenging and we are fit and able. Lugging suitcases was a challenge , and also at the end of a very hot day out sightseeing doing the stairs was difficult . We loved the central location … it was perfect! Instructions to open apartment door were complicated. We had a great stay and appreciated the bottle of Chianti from our host, Martina, who allowed us a later checkout. Grazie!"

"We had wonderful stay at Localita Granaio and in the Castellini in Chianti area. The villa was amazing with its history and setting and we loved the beautiful views as we sat on the patio with our wine and cheese. Our host Pietro could not have been better- helpful but not intrusive, informative and friendly. The general area also had so much to offer. We would go back in a minute! Thanks Pietro"
