"I would give the overall rating very good. The room was very spacious. The pool area definitely needs some work. Broken pieces of trim and flooring. Staff was fine, stayed here to ride the ATV trails. I will say it was very convenient and plenty of parking."

"From the time we walked up to this gorgeous inn, we were throughly impressed. Our room was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. They truly proved us with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay right away. We loved the fireplace, extra fluffy towels, comfortable bed, welcome prosecco and chocolates, daily cider and cookies in the lounge and the incredible wrap around porch complete with the view of autumn leaves with a fire burning in the fire pit. The attention to detail was amazing! From the owner, who checked us in, to each and every waitstaff serving us for our four night stay for breakfast and one dinner, we were also blown away by the warmth of the staff and willingness to go the extra mile with sightseeing advice, etc. It was the perfect first visit to New England and 30th anniversary celebration. Thank you!"

"This is our favorite place to stay! The room was very spacious. The views are amazing and loved sitting on the deck in a rocking chair. It’s a historical hotel so it has that charm. This is our second time here and can’t wait to come back. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and I love the older furniture in the room. The tv is great you get a bunch of channels automatically, usually it’s a fight to get anything working."

The property also has a playground, which is a great bonus for families with children. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the White Mountains!"
