Visit Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque in Doha’s Al Jebailat neighborhood to admire the grandest mosque in all of Qatar. Appreciate the massive structure’s traditional Arab architectural style complemented by contemporary touches. The sandstone mosque is particularly beautiful at night when the dozens of domes on its fort-like roof are illuminated.

Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque, also known as the Qatar State Grand Mosque, was named after the Muslim preacher and scholar from Saudi Arabia who founded Wahhabism, an Islamic sect. Inside, there is room for 30,000 worshippers within a strikingly white prayer hall, set off by red carpeting and simple chandeliers.

Men use the air-conditioned central hall for prayers, while women use a large, adjacent space. A clock telling worshippers when to gather for prayer is one of the more modern touches interspersed with traditional aspects of the design.

Admission to Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque is free. Visitors are asked to come to the mosque outside of prayer times. Work with a local tour operator or call in advance to inquire about tours. If you are unable to visit outside of prayer hours, it’s still worth your time to walk around the outside of the mosque – particularly after sunset to see it lit up – for the striking West Bay skyline views and the sublime beauty of the structure itself.

The property is not bad, but some people in the reception is not good is not friendly. Even the other thing is good. I had some problem. I told him I’m gonna extend it. They say no we can’t extend it and anyway I told them I’m gonna leave at 2 o’clock. Can you give me permission for that? Just one hour after 1 o’clock? That’s the night I was talking to the person he was so bad he was so rude he make me like so mad so in the morning I column early I told him I have family. I’m gonna leave at 2 o’clock if you can please we have to take my stuff something like that she said no it’s not legal so I told him I was in Azdan Hotel I spoke with them like what I spoke with you guys they said okay there’s no problem. Take one hour more after 1 o’clock so that make me so mad. Make me. I don’t know what should I say

I had a wonderful stay at The OQ in Lusail. The hotel is brand new, and it truly reflects that with its elegant decoration and high-quality furniture. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the hotel had a pleasant, refreshing scent throughout. The staff were friendly and cooperative, making the stay even more enjoyable. However, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The coffee machine in the room was not functioning, and even after the hotel replaced it, it still didn’t work properly. Additionally, the shower drainage was slow, which made it slightly uncomfortable. Despite these small issues, my overall experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Lusail. Rating: 4.5/5
