Don't plan to stay here again!
They always say, you get what you pay for. That was the case here. Stairwell, outside balcony, not clean or cared for. Too many insects when we first entered the room. Broke toilet handle. Inside of shower curtain nasty. Floor felt dirty (non-carpeted floors)The bed was fairly comfortable, probably best thing about the room. Second best thing is located next to Granny's Country Cookin - Great food! We stayed here due to located close to family activity in nearby town, but we had a very limited budget. Next time I'll spend more to stay elsewhere.

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED SAVE YOURSELF
If you value yourself, significant other, family, or friends, Do not, choose this place. It is unsafe, as there were no batteries in the smoke detector ( illegal by the way ), the rooms smell of a freshly lit cigarette in granny’s kitchen ( no pun intended on the granny’s kitchen next door - they probably smell better, didn’t stick around to find out ). The front desk guy, absolutely disrespectful. Fridge in room was leaking all in the floor, he handed my partner a towel and said to just put that over it. There were bugs in curtains and bathroom. Oh .. and the mold covered walls? If you’re into these kinds of things, by all means, waste your money. The owner / front desk guy doesn’t care about you bringing up the fact that there are no batteries in the fire alarm, and will tell you to, ‘ just leave ‘. Hey now. And don’t think you’ll ‘ have it your way ‘ just because there’s a Burger King store sign in the parking lot … and open the microwave to what had to be a three week old ramen spill. And if you pick this place, you’re certainly on the right track if you wrap up in these ( cigarette burned ) HOLY sheets. If you needed fish bait? Of the light fixtures got ya handled there too. So I guess in all, the choice is yours. I’m not mad, the front desk guy is. And you will be too if you waste your money at this one. Pssst - head over to sleep inn ( which is where you’ll ACTUALLY be able to sleep AND breathe at the same time ). They are only ten min down the road. Yw
Fish bait? Got you covered just in the light fixtures alone.
Into three week old ramen? Covered there too. Just open the microwave to a scrumptious / disgusting surprise.
This is his place. My bad dude.
The front desk responds to this as, “ it’s the f’ing previous customers who take the batteries out. Which customers? The ones from three weeks ago, tell em they forgot their ramen.

Front desk attendent wasn't friendly, very anti-social. Rooms had cheaply thrown together furniture that had loose components. Somewhat clean, but not exactly whats advertised and could've booked a better hotel nearby. Bathrooms also werent the best quality.l either, towels were only big enough for a small child. Only plus thing was the country kitchen next door had good food.

Great location right off the 40, quiet even though the freeway was right there. No issues with checking in or out and the best part is it's a family operation so they were very polite. There is a pet deposit of $100, but if the room is clean and not damaged then there is no issue getting it back. I stayed for 2 weeks because this was a move not a vacation so while looking for a permanent place and working my new job, it was nice to be able to relax without the noise you would expect. I highly recommend it and would happily stay there again.

There wasn't very much like about this hotel. When we got there the room wasn't clean. There was rocking old food in the refrigerator. We called the front desk and told him about it and they told us to put it in a bag and set it outside our door. Is that our job a responsibility to clean up the refrigerator. Completely insulted and we will never stay here again.

This was a last minute booking in the very nearly middle of the night. Which was the only positive I can say about it. When we arrived the night shift person wasn’t particularly polite but nor was she rude until I asked for a room change. The reservation had been made for a non-smoking room, they put us in a room that smelled like a 30 year old wet ashtray. The room itself was only moderately clean. It appeared that someone had recently been in room as there was fresh cigarette ash on bed sheets along with about 20 old burn holes. There was literally short and curlies under sheets and on a pillow that made it appear that bed had merely been made and that sheets weren’t actually changed and washed. We ended up driving a little farther down the road to stay in hickory. Bottom line never stay here.

Beware of this hotel.
Be Careful. Was not safe. Unfortunately there were some drug dealing going on the premises that we witnessed. Shady people hanging outside until the wee hours in the morning. If you do need to stay there, the rooms were nice. The bathrooms were a bit dated. The staff was wonderful.
