We actually decided to change hotels after check in. Staff was very kind. The hallway leading down to our room had old carpet, walls that were (we assume) being renovated? There were holes being held by tape that was peeling off. The room itself had a very strong musty smell and a few moths flying around. I’m sure Much of that was Out of the control of the management but my family and I would not have been comfortable. Unfortunately next door was a very upset infant so all things considered we just decided to move.

We were not greeted. There were 2 young people at the front desk on their phones. They didn’t look up when people walked in. When I went to the desk to explain our room phone wasn’t working, we’re wet met with a “sorry”-no offer to have maintenance look at it. When we asked for pillows for the pull out we were told they were out. The receptionist said she’d look for some, but as we walked away she sat back down and started on her cell phone again. We never did get pillows.

Had a problem with my card and hotel took $300 extra off my card and general manager will not get back with me and was stuck without money 5 hours from home. Still have yet to hear anything. Still was overall a great stay and clean environment and staff there were very helpful besides gm.

Service was great until the one night that I was really resting and the fire alarm malfunctioned at 1:07 a.m. causing everyone to evacuate only to find out it was a false alarm. I understand that I would rather have a false alarm than no alarm at all with an actual fire though. Please hurry up and get that fixed, please!

This was our return trip stay from vacation.We stayed here the week before heading to vacation on 8/13. The 8/13 stay was even worse. We would've changed hotels after the 13th, but rates had gone up significantly. The 8/20 stay was disappointing because the a.c. unit would get noisy at random intervals. We should've tried to change rooms but were so tired and gathering everything up for just a few hours didn't seem worth it. The stay on 8/13 was marred by a noisy guests. The staff tried to calm them down, but it was pointless. Rock The South was that weekend and the hotel was filled w/ concert goers. The combined experiences of the two stays made us decide we won't be staying here again.

Terrible Smell
The hotel had the worst smell that I have ever smelled in my life. The staff didn’t know where it was coming from and offered no apology or solution. I was sick the whole trip from the smell. We are supposed to be returning the end of the month, there is no way I will stay there until that smell is gone.

The hotel had a strangely “hollow” sound to it, causing the noise of roaring vehicles from the two nearby gas stations and nearby busy highway to loudly echo through the room all night. In the morning, someone was moving metal chairs from the pool about 6:15. It was hard to sleep with all the noise.

Location for us was very convenient to family. Easy check in with friendly staff. Would really like to have the hot breakfast available now that restaurants are open.

No coffee in lobby!!!! Had to make my own in room. Then very few choices for coffee flavoring. Other than that is was very nice and super comfortable. But coffee’s kind of a big deal! :)

We checked into a king room and and that night we noticed a few small winged bugs. The next day they were everywhere. On the windows, walls, on the bed, in the bathroom. Everywhere. We notified the front seat and they moved us to a double bed room. The problem is they did not seem concerned at all. No offer to help, nothing. They showed no concern that there is a bug infestation or that we had to down grade rooms.

Really disappointed that they did NOT offer hot water, coffee, and a warm breakfast. I understand the concern with COVID but I travel a lot and this is the only hotel I have encountered that did NOT serve the above mentioned items.
