"I have stayed at several places within the village and I must say Nirvana is my top choice now. The location couldn’t be any more perfect, beach was clean and beach chairs with umbrellas were provided. Kayaks and paddle board were also available. As far as the rooms, they were very clean and comfortable and had touches/amenities that made it feel resort like. To top it off, the staff was just so amazing and friendly. Really couldn’t have been a better stay. Looking forward to booking the Belizean Nirvana again!"

"The location is unique and right on the water. The home is impressive with large common areas, paddle boards and kayaks to use. Yes, Edwin, the caretaker, is great but you are dependent on him to take you into town if you need anything. Communication was fine but you have to have WhatsApp to message Edwin. It needs to be pointed out that this house has NO AIR CONDITIONING. You count on fans and sea breezes for cooling, which, when it's 90 degrees out, is not great. The other thing I think should be mentioned is that there are no supplies provided in the kitchen. There are pots and pans and all appliances but nothing else, not even salt or pepper. I know there was no indication that anything was going to be supplied but we would have shopped a little more thoroughly if we knew there was absolutely nothing. While towels are provided, there is neither soap nor shampoo available for the showers or sinks. Dish soap was provided. I'm only trying to make people aware so they aren't surprised like we were in certain respects. Belize is lovely and we would definitely come back in the future."

"I can't say enough about the Sea Glass Inn and the Maloney's. We were met at arrival by Tom, one of the owners. He has alot of knowledge about pretty much everything you might want to do in Placencia. From places to eat to excursions you might want to take. They set up transportation for us from the local airport, a car rental fo r our road trip, and even scheduled our excursions! They truly go above and beyond at the Sea Glass. The hotel itself is newly remodeled, clean and beautiful, with a lot of personal touches. To top it off, if you're a dog lover, this is your place. Piper, Rigatoni and Alfredo are perfect additions to the laid back Placencia vibe."
