"Overall, this is a magical place to spend a relaxing retreat. The decorating is very comforting, the house is well appointed, and the view over the lawn and out over the lake is sublime. The issues to be aware of to make sure this is for you - you’ll be making and tending a lot of fires if you want to use the hot tub, the sauna or the grill house. They are all heated with wood or charcoal fires. There is no drier for laundry, so be thoughtful about how much washing you do as it could take a bit to dry it on the rack. You may want to encourage the host to leave more towels than just one hand towel and bath towel per person as you’ll want them both for showering as well as sauna/hot tub. Communication definitely works better over WhatsApp than via the app so transition to that as quickly as possible. And, the nearest store is about 15 minutes away via car, so you’ll want to be thoughtful about what you need in order to avoid the 30 minute round trip. This truly is a special place and perfect for a personal retreat if you are the kind of person ok with doing a bit of work to make it really hum."

"Wir haben unsere Woche in diesem schönen Ferienhaus sehr genossen und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Haus war bei unserer Ankunft sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was wir für einen entspannten Urlaub brauchten.Da es zwischendurch auch ein paar kühlere Tage gab, haben wir die Badetonne und die Sauna besonders genossen – eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, auch bei typisch schwedischem Wetter zu entspannen.Ein besonderes Highlight für uns war das Aluboot, mit dem wir auf den See hinausfahren und auch ein wenig angeln konnten. Überhaupt ist die Lage direkt am See einfach wunderschön und perfekt, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht.Restaurants in der Umgebung haben wir tatsächlich gar nicht ausprobiert – dafür war es einfach viel zu schön, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, den Blick zu genießen und den Tag dort ausklingen zu lassen.Auch der Kontakt mit der Vermieterfamilie war von Anfang an sehr angenehm, herzlich und unkompliziert. Die Kommunikation hat jederzeit hervorragend funktioniert.Wer eine entspannte Auszeit an einem schwedischen See sucht, findet hier wirklich sehr gute Voraussetzungen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!"
