Impeccable, thoughtful, supreme and serene
Frequent traveler, this place is basically perfect. Everything clean and beautiful, I wanted to purchase everything in the room, everything was so cute. They will let you check out late (12:30 for me) for no extra fee. NO BRAINER!! Bougie fireplace, the still offer traditional amenities like room service. Thank you and I will be back! -Shay

Comfortable, quiet, pleasing to the eye.
The room was clean, comfortable, attractively decorated, and well-lit--the desk was especially appreciated. Even though the winter has been unusually mild, the electric fireplace was welcome. Nicely furnished lobby, very friendly desk clerk. Good value. Relatively short (20 minutes) walk to Amtrak.

Quaint spot in the upper Hudson Valley
A lovely place to stay on a wonderful street in a quaint town in the Hudson Valley The staff is super friendly. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants.

We arrived very late, after the front desk was already closed. But they had pre-arranged a late check-in and were very clear about where to find keys, etc. We arrived to find the cutest, most well-appointed room with an AMAZING shower. Quiet and comfy. An awesome little boutique hotel!

Very cute place close to everything we needed. However, our bathroom door doesn’t slide shut completely and in a small room is a must. Also no coffee was stocked in our room and none available at front desk . Hotel has other bathrooms available in hallway and a decent fitness center .

We were wow’ed with modern/nautical rooms including vintage common areas/lobby inside a historic building. Highly recommend - quiet and relaxing in the middle of Hudson within walking distance of restaurants, cocktail bars, cafes and plenty of antique shops.

Lack of basic hospitality
The hotel is in located on Warren St, a great location (the only street housing any type of community life, retail, restaurants, etc). The aesthetics of the hotel is quaint and charming, and the beds are comfortable. The power jet shower is awesome, however the shower head itself lacks water pressure. The carpets in the hallways need a deep cleaning as they have a horrible stale stench. I had to hold my breath every time I left and entered the hotel. The front desk staff is pleasant but not helpful or responsive to communications. The hotel is also not staffed from 7pm-9am, and the after hours phone line can take several hours to receive a response, if at all. My issue with this hotel is that is is operated like a glorified motel and lacks concern for client health safety or adequate accommodations, which contradicts what is outlined in its hotel description. We arrived just before 7pm, which I communicated with front desk several times to ensure that we would still be able to get into our room. Once we entered through the back entrance and entered our room I noticed my body was reacting as if I was having an allergic reaction to something. My husband noticed the paperwork that they provided at check in and stated that we were in the ONLY per friendly room. I have severe allergies to most animals and it was apparent that the room and hallways had not been properly cleaned. At that point is was 7:02pm and the receptionist had already left. We offered you another room in this establishment as well as another one of our locations. You chose to stay after you checked into the pet friendly room (you chose the room by mistake or not as we do not choose our guests room for them). If we were a horrible place to stay then I am not sure why you chose to stay 2 nights with us after being offered to relocate elsewhere.

Sometimes you just need a place to lay your head on the way to wherever. That was my case, but this property was so much better than just a hotel. A lot of attention to detail was obviously taken with this beautiful hotel.
